Upstate New York with Downtown Stone

The Harris Manor was built 1929 for Henry Upham Harris, a partner at J.P. Morgan. Architect Roger Bullard created the home which is made of stone taken from the excavation of New York City's subway system tunnels. Brookville, New York is home to many historic homes. The ornate wood carvings, stone floors, and leaded glass windows make this home one of Brookville's most prominent houses. Sitting on 31 acres, the manor is sure to entice anyone to spend a weekend away from the city and in the serene country.
