At The Ritz in Tokyo

The Ritz-Carlton located in the Roppongi district of Tokyo is located on the 45th through 53rd floor of the Skidmore, Owings & Merrill designed complex and was recently featured in the August edition of Architectural Digest. Designer Frank Nicholson outfitted the 45th floor lobby with anegre paneling for the walls and limestone and granite covered the floors. The lobby bar comes equipped with an oversized glass screen, originally designed by Nicholson, and made by a local artist.

There is nothing I love more than a hotel, and especially a hotel abroad. I have never been to Japan, but am dying to go. The Ritz-Carlton hotels are known for their service and attention detail, and can always be relied on to be the best accompaniment on any kind of travel.
